Javier Ríos, de 72 años, rodeado de su esposa, hijos, nietos y bisnietos, encontró la paz el lunes 30 de marzo de 2026. Fue un hombre extraordinario que vivió una vida notable y amó a su familia con pasión hasta su último aliento. Javier nació en Ignacio Ramírez, Durango, México, el 23 de junio de 1953, el menor de doce hijos de José Santos Ríos y Damiana Ríos Rocha. Javier se mantenia trabajando duro. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos y bisnietos y alludar a sus vicinos. Trabajo incansasablemente para lograr que sus hijos salieran adelante. Lo extranaremos profundamente. Para nosotros fue un gran esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y un amigo.
Lo sobreviven su esposa Irma Rios; su hijo Francisco Renato Rios y su esposa Crystal Rios; su hija Melissa Rios Hoppin y su esposo Michael Hoppin; y su hijo Alonzo Rios y su esposa Jennifer Rios.
Lo sobreviven sus nietos: Emery Rios; Elissia Alexander y su esposo Jordan Alexander; Anthony Rios y su esposa Rhyan Rios; Matthias Hoppin; Javier Rios y Zoe Rios. Por último, lo sobreviven sus bisnietos: Hollis Alexander, Graham Alexander y Charlotte Rios.
Javier Ríos, 72, surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, found peace on Monday, March 30, 2026. He was an extraordinary man who lived a remarkable life and loved his family passionately until his final breath. Javier was born in Ignacio Ramírez, Durango, Mexico, on June 23, 1953, the youngest of twelve children of José Santos Ríos and Damiana Ríos Rocha. Javier was a hardworking man through and through. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always ready to lend a helping hand to his neighbors. He worked tirelessly to ensure his children had every opportunity to move forward in life. We will miss him deeply. To us, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a true friend.
He is survived by his wife Irma Rios, his son Francisco Renato Rios and wife Crystal Rios, his daughter Melissa Rios Hoppin and husband Michael Hoppin, his son Alonzo Rios and wife Jennifer Rios.
He is survived by his grandchildren: Emery Rios, Elissia Alexander and husband Jordan Alexander, Anthony Rios and wife Rhyan Rios, Matthias Hoppin, Javier Rios, and Zoe Rios. Lastly, he is survived by his great-grandchildren: Hollis Alexander, Graham Alexander, and Charlotte Rios.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Green Funeral Home - Red Oak, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish - Ferris, Texas.
Burial to follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
