Hipolito "Poli" Loredo Herrera

Hipólito "Poli" Loredo Herrera, de 47 años, de Ferris Texas, falleció el 29 de julio de 2023. Nació el 26 de enero de 1976 en Río Pinihuan, San Luis Potosi, México, de los finados José Loredo Rodriguez y Julia Herrera Puebla.
Creció en México, siempre ayudando con las tareas domésticas que incluían cuidar a los animales. Su hermana Margarita recuerda que, cuando era niño, disfrutaba montar caballos y burros y ser un pequeño muy activo.

Poli como lo conocía la mayoría, llegó a los Estados Unidos a la edad de 22 años en 1998. Poco después de su llegada, se encontraría con el amor de su vida, Christine Moya. Juntos crearon una hermosa familia con 3 hijos; Bubba, Cece y Kylie.

Poli aprendió una nueva habilidad y comenzó a trabajar en construcción en el que practicó durante muchos años y fue excelente.

En 2012, Poli comenzó a trabajar en South Creek Ranch como una mano de rancho, un tipo de mantenimiento y un paisajista donde trabajó hasta su fallecimiento prematuro.

En 2020 agregaría otro título a su nombre. Pasó de marido y padre a abuelo. Sus 2 nietos eran la luz de su vida. La familia era muy importante para él. Poli fue un gran proveedor de su familia y siempre será recordado como un trabajador muy duro. Poli siempre estuvo allí para sus hijos y cualquier otra persona que lo necesitara. Quería que todos supieran que podían contar con él, y que él estaría allí para ellos.

Poli siempre fue una persona activa y le encanta mantenerse ocupado sin siquiera ser preguntado, si estaba recortando un árbol, cavar un agujero o cocinar en la parrilla.

Su cuñada Cristina siempre recordará que podría hacer que algo suceda. ¡Sabía si Benjamin le dijo que no! Al hacer una llamada telefónica a Poli, lo haría realidad. Cristina dice que no solo era un padre de sus propios hijos, sino que también trató a sus 2 niños y sus sobrinas y sobrinos como suyos. Siempre será recordado como la persona con un corazón de oro, pero sobre todo por el vínculo que tenía con sus hijos y su esposo Benjamin. La familia lo extrañaremos enormemente.

Poli es precedida en la muerte por sus padres.

A Poli le sobreviven su esposa Christine Loredo de Ferris, su hijo Alberto, Loredo de Ferris, su hija Cecelia y su cónyuge Abner Gallegos de Ferris, Kylie Loredo de Ferris, y sus nietos Abner y Rubiel Gallegos. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Sebastian, Rafaella, Guadalupe, Santos, Isabel, Feliciano Gregorio, Juan, Benjamin, Margarita y Martha.

Una vigilia nocturna se llevará a cabo el viernes 4 de agosto en Green Funeral Home en Red Oak, a partir de las 6 pm.

El rosario se recitará el viernes 4 de agosto a las 7 pm durante la vigilia nocturna

La misa de un entierro cristiano se llevará a cabo el sábado 5 de agosto en la parroquia católica de Corpus Christi en Ferris Texas a las 10 a.m.

Los servicios de entierro se llevarán a cabo el sábado 5 de agosto en Ferris Memorial Park North a las 11:30 a.m.

Hipólito “Poli” Loredo Herrera, age 47 of Ferris Texas passed away on July 29, 2023. He was born January 26, 1976, in Rio Pinihuan, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to the late Jose Loredo Rodriguez and Julia Herrera Puebla. 

He grew up in Mexico, always helping with the household chores that included taking care of the animals. His sister Margarita remembers that as a child, he enjoyed riding horses and donkeys and being very active. 

Poli as how he was known to most, came to the United States at the age of 22 in 1998. Soon after his arrival, he would meet the love of his life, Christine Moya. Together they created a beautiful family with 3 children: Bubba, Cece and Kylie. 

Poli learned a new skill and started working in construction and framing which he practiced for many years and was great at. 

In 2012 Poli started working at South Creek Ranch as a ranch hand, maintenance guy, and landscaper where he worked until his untimely passing. 

In 2020 he would add another title to his name. He went from husband and father to grandfather. His 2 grandsons were the light of his life. Family was very important to him. Poli was a great provider for his family and will always be remembered as a very hard worker. Poli was always there for his kids and anyone else who needed him. He wanted everyone to know that they could count on him, and that he would be there for them.  

Poli was always an active person and love to keep busy without even being asked, whether it was trimming a tree, digging a hole or cooking on the grill. 

His sister-in-law Cristina will always remember that he could make anything happen. She knew if Benjamin told her No! by making one phone call to Poli he would make it happen. Cristina says he wasn’t only a father to his own kids but also treated her 2 boys and her nieces and nephews as his own. He will always be remembered as the person with a heart of gold but most of all for the bond he held with her boys and her husband Benjamin. He will be missed tremendously by the family. 

Poli is preceded in death by his parents.

Poli is survived by his wife Christine Loredo of Ferris, son Alberto, Loredo of Ferris, daughter Cecelia, and spouse Abner Gallegos of Ferris, Kylie Loredo of Ferris, & his grandsons Abner and Rubiel Gallegos. He is also survived by his siblings Sebastian, Rafaella, Guadalupe, Santos, Isabel, Feliciano Gregorio, Juan, Benjamin, Margarita, and Martha. 

An overnight vigil will be held on Friday, August 4th at Green Funeral Home in Red Oak, starting at 6 PM. 

The rosary will be recited on Friday, August 4th at 7 PM during the overnight vigil.

Mass of a Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 5th at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish in Ferris Texas at 10 AM

Interment services will be held on Saturday, August 5th at Ferris Memorial Park North at 11:30 AM
