Gloria Diaz

Gloria A. Garza Diaz, age 81 passed away on January 1, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1943 in Ennis, Texas to Alberto Garza and Pauline Andres. One of twelve children, she spent her early years helping with her siblings, a role that shaped her nurturing and selfless spirit. Gloria shared a beautiful life with her husband David Diaz, traveling together and cherishing countless memories. A skilled seamstress, she worked at Marilyn Belts and Bags in Ferris and later in production at BrassCraft in Lancaster until her retirement. In her free time she enjoyed sewing curtains and made clothing for her children when they were in school. She also loved finding treasures at garage sales and thrift stores. A devoted grandmother, Gloria played an active and loving role in her grandchildren’s lives. She adored family gatherings, sharing laughter, and her love for sweets—especially Braum’s ice cream. A green thumb at heart, she found peace and joy tending to her flowerbeds and nurturing her cherished roses. Though serious by nature, Gloria’s occasional silliness brought smiles to those around her. She loved dressing up for any occasion and was known for her generosity and gentle demeanor, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Gloria’s faith in the Lord was the cornerstone of her life, she attended Templo Lirio de Los Valles Pentecostal Church of God in Ennis, Texas. She loved visiting with her neighbors and extended her kindness to everyone she met, embodying a life of love and service. She will be missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alberto and Pauline Garza; husband of 52 years David Diaz; infant son Domingo Garza, son Alvino Molina, Jr.; and all of her brothers and sisters.

She has survived by her children: Guadalupe Salazar Woodard, Juan Jose Molina, Urban Molina, Albert Molina, Rudy Molina, Pauline Henson and Jessica Garza; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025 at Green Funeral Home –Ferris, Texas.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Green Funeral Home –Ferris, Texas.

Burial will follow at Ferris Memorial Park North -Ferris, Texas.
