Glenn E. Yates

Glenn E. Yates, age 59 of Ferris, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020. He was born in October of 1960 to Norman Casper and E. Beth (Lewis) Yates in Greensboro, North Carolina. Glenn met and later married the love of his life, Meta Parkinson on November 9, 1983 in Edna, Texas. He loved being in the outdoors; fishing in the Bay or hunting at Robinson Ranch in South Texas for his 8 point buck, of which he was so proud. He loved his rock and roll music, among his favorites are Ozzie Osborn, AC/DC and Joe Satriani. He adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. 

Survivors include wife Meta Yates of Ferris; sons: Doug Heinrich of Greenville and Randy Heinrich of Wolfe City; grandson Kyle Blake Heinrich of Greenville and granddaughter Kamryn Ann Heinrich of Greenville; parents: Norman and Beth Yates of Victoria; siblings: Paul Neil Yates of Victoria, Michael Dale Yates of Victoria and Sheryl Ann Canter of Victoria; nephews: Zane Yates, Avery Yates, Tyler Yates, Logan Yates and Mathew Pressler and his beloved dogs Precious and Poo Bear.

A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
