Gabriel Anthony Hernandez, age 32, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away on October 24, 2025. He was born February 23, 1993 in Dallas, Texas. Gabriel grew up in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School with the Class of 2011. He went on to earn his Associate Degree in Business from Austin Community College. Intelligent, loyal, and kind-hearted, Gabriel was deeply devoted to his mother, family, and friends; always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer a word of encouragement. A true fan at heart, Gabriel was a passionate supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on. He was also an avid collector of Funko Pop! figures, proudly showcasing favorites like Deadpool, Batman, and Spider-Man. His love of comics ran deep, and Wednesdays often found him at his favorite comic shop, eager to pick up new releases and prized collector’s editions. Gabriel’s appreciation for film was unmatched. He was a self-proclaimed “officiant of cinema,” who could tell you who wrote, directed, and starred in nearly any movie. Whether it was a classic, a hidden gem, or a new release, he loved introducing others to the art of storytelling through film. Above all, Gabriel was a man of love and loyalty to his family, his friends, and his faithful dog, Duke. His warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
