Gabriel Sanchez Arvizo, 63 de Lancaster, Texas, falleció el lunes 4 de enero de 2021. Nació el 24 de marzo de 1957 en San Luis Potosí, México, hijo de Sebastián y María Ysabel (Sanchez) Arvizo. El mayor de 8 hermanos, vino a los Estados Unidos a la edad de 12 años con su padre para trabajar en los campos de todo Texas y otros estados incluyendo: Florida y Nueva York. Visito México seguido y regreso en 1998, regresando a Lancaster, TX con su esposa María Sabina Espinoza Hernández; juntos comparten tres hijos a los que le encantaba pasar tiempo al aire libre tanto como fuera posible. Desde que regreso a Texas, trabajo para Atco Products en Ferris, TX. Siempre estaba contando una broma o jugando una broma a amigos y familiares, pero podía ser franco y directo. Desde una edad temprana, comenzó a cocinar y continuó su amor por cocinar para su familia. Es recordado como un hombre sencillo, nunca siendo uno para presumir, pero tenía un extraordinario talento de la escritura de canciones; con poca educación el pidió ayuda para escribirlas. Muchas de sus canciones fueron grabadas profesionalmente, a menudo regalándolas sin expectativa de pago, sólo amando escuchar su canción siendo cantada. Estos recuerdos viven para siempre, todos los que lo conocieron lo extrañaran.

Es precedido en la muerte por su padre y un hermano pequeño.

Lo sobrevive su amorosa esposa María Sabina Espinoza de Lancaster; niños: Ada Arvizo de Lancaster, Gabriela Arvizo de Lancaster y Gabriel Arvizo, Jr. de Lancaster; madre María Ysabel Sánchez de México; hermanos: Minerva Arvizo de México, María Refugio Arvizo de Houston, Alfredo Arvizo de Beaumont, José Guadalupe Arvizo de Wilmer, Luisa Benavides de Katy, Inocencio Arvizo de Wilmer y Mayco Arvizo de Lancaster; así como numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y otros familiares y amigos.

Visita: 4:00 – 8:00 PM con Rosario a las 7:00 PM Viernes, 8 de enero de 2021 en Green Funeral Home, Ferris, Texas. Máscara requerida.

Misa de Cristiana Sepultura: 10:00 AM Sábado, 9 de enero de 2021 en Corpus Christi Catholic Parish: 111 N. Wood St. Ferris, Texas. Cubrebocas requerida.

 

Gabriel Sanchez Arvizo, 63 of Lancaster, Texas, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born March 24, 1957 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Sebastian and Maria Ysabel (Sanchez) Arvizo. The oldest of 8 siblings, he came to the United States at the age of 12 with his father to work in the fields all over Texas and other states including: Florida and New York. He visited Mexico often and returned in 1998, moving back to Lancaster, TX with wife Maria Sabina Espinoza Hernandez; together they share three children whom he loved spending time outdoors as much as possible. Since returning to Texas, he worked for Atco Products in Ferris, TX. He was always telling a joke or playing a prank on friends and family, but could be frank and straightforward. From an early age, he began cooking and continued his love to cook for his family. He is remembered as a simple man, never being one to show off but had an extraordinary talent of song writing; with little education he would ask for help writing them down. Many of his songs were recorded professionally, often giving them away without expectation of payment, only loving to hear his song being sang. These memories live on forever, he will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father and an infant sibling.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria Sabina Espinoza of Lancaster; children: Ada Arvizo of Lancaster, Gabriela Arvizo of Lancaster and Gabriel Arvizo, Jr. of Lancaster; mother Maria Ysabel Sanchez of Mexico; siblings: Minerva Arvizo of Mexico, Maria Refugio Arvizo of Houston, Alfredo Arvizo of Beaumont, Jose Guadalupe Arvizo of Wilmer, Luisa Benavides of Katy, Inocencio Arvizo of Wilmer and Mayco Arvizo of Lancaster; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 – 8:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Ferris, Texas. Mask Required.
