Everardo Sandoval Correa

Everardo Sandoval Correa, age 46 of Rice, Texas passed away, November 16, 2023. He was born June 17, 1977 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Javier Sandoval and Maria De Los Angeles Correa. He spent much of his childhood on the Ranch with his grandfather Felipe and loved playing baseball and discovered his love of singing in high school. He sang at Church and even started a band called Corazón de Cristal, they played for parties, weddings and other events. In 1997 he met the love of his life, Maria Guadalupe Rios, they were married September 5, 1998. To this union was born three wonderful children. Evan was funny, outgoing, and made friends very easily. He was always thoughtful and considerate, always asking his family what they wanted from the gas station on his way home. His baby girl Karyme was his pride and joy. He loved to cook for his family creatively, especially on the grill. His family remember trips to the beach at Galveston and also to Turner Falls in Oklahoma. He was a very optimistic individual, always seeing the bright side of every situation, keeping an open mind and was never judgemental. He loved playing with and caring for his grandson Monito. Everardo is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father Javier Sandoval; grandparents: Felipe and Tomasita Sandoval; and brother-in-law

He is survived by his loving wife Maria Guadalupe Rios; daughter Valeria Sandoval, son Javier Sandoval and daughter Karyme Sandoval; grandson Damian (Monito) Johnson; mother Maria De Los Angeles Correa; sister Sonya Sandoval; brother Mario Martinez; nieces: Amy Chavez, Areli Chavez and Zury Chavez; and his beloved canine companion, an English labrador Oreo.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish Ferris, Texas. 

Burial will follow at Ferris Memorial Park North Ferris, Texas.

Everardo Sandoval Correa de 46 años de edad de Rice, Texas falleció el 16 de noviembre del 2023. El nació el 17 de junio de 1977 en Valle Hermoso Tamaulipas Mexico a Javier Sandoval y María de los Ángeles Correa. Everardo pasó gran parte de su infancia en el rancho con su abuelo Felipe y le encantaba jugar béisbol y descubrió su amor por el canto en la escuela secundaria. Cantó en la Iglesia e incluso formó una banda llamada Corazón de Cristal, tocaban en fiestas, bodas y otros eventos. En 1997 conoció al amor de su vida, María Guadalupe Ríos, se casaron el 5 de septiembre de 1998. De esta unión nacieron tres maravillosos hijos. Ever era divertido, extrovertido y hacía amigos muy fácilmente. Siempre fue reflexivo y considerado, siempre preguntaba a su familia qué querían de la gasolinera de camino a casa. Su pequeña Karyme era su orgullo y alegría. Le encantaba cocinar creativamente para su familia, especialmente a la parrilla. Su familia recuerda los viajes a la playa de Galveston y también a Turner Falls en Oklahoma. Era una persona muy optimista, siempre veía el lado positivo de cada situación, mantenía una mente abierta y nunca juzgaba. Le encantaba jugar con su nieto Monito y cuidarlo. Everardo es amado y todos los que lo conocieron lo extrañarán.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa María Guadalupe Ríos; hija Valeria Sandoval, hijo Javier Sandoval e hija Karyme Sandoval; nieto Damián (Monito) Johnson; madre María De Los Ángeles Correa; hermana Sonya Sandoval; hermano Mario Martínez; sobrinas: Amy Chávez, Areli Chávez y Zury Chávez; y su querido compañero canino, un labrador inglés Oreo.
