Eddie Ray Miller

Eddie Ray Miller, 80, of Ferris, TX, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born on February 27, 1944, in Caribou, Maine, to Herman Cecil Miller and Anna Staperd, Eddie lived a life defined by his dedication to family, service, and hard work.

After graduating high school, Eddie proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, embodying the values of duty and honor. Following his military service, he began a long and fulfilling career as a truck driver at Consolidated Freight, where he worked for 25 years. Eddie’s strong work ethic and sense of responsibility earned him the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of all who knew him.

Eddie's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Barbara (Sparks) Miller, and his devoted daughter, Erica Miller. Eddie was a proud and caring husband and father, always putting the needs of his family first. He will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.
