Earline Johnson
(Affectionately known as “Coffee Lady”)
Earline Johnson of Midlothian, Texas was born on March 28, 1924, to George and Lillie Mae McDaniel. She peacefully passed away to be with the Lord on December 30, 2025.
Earline lived a long life filled with faith, love, and quiet strength. She was known for her warm spirit, kind heart, and the simple joys she shared with those around her. Her presence brought comfort, wisdom, and cherished memories to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Earl McDaniel; her mother, Lillie Mae McDaniel; husband, Elbert Johnson, her brother, Roscoe “Buddy” McDaniel; her son, David Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Linda Johnson; her son-in-law, Van Murphree; and her grandson, Roscoe Murphree.
She is survived by her daughter, Jerry Sue Murphree; and her grandchildren: Jon Johnson and wife Dana, Susan Cromeans, Richard Murphree, Steve Murphree, Melisa Murphree, and Tim Murphree and wife Marissa.
She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who were a true blessing in her life.
Earline will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private memorial is planned for a later date.
