Earl Wayne McClard

Earl Wayne McClard, of Wilmer, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born on February 4, 1952, in Blanchard, Oklahoma, Earl learned the value of hard work from an early age. He began working as a young man and carried that strong work ethic with him throughout his life. Eventually, he made his way to Texas, where he built his career.

Earl was a skilled carpenter and construction craftsman. He took great pride in working with his hands and had a remarkable ability to build, repair, and create just about anything. Whether helping others with a project or crafting something for his own home, his work reflected his dedication, patience, and attention to detail. One of his favorite creations was a porch swing, where family and friends could sit, visit, and enjoy life. A true country boy at heart, Earl loved classic country music and found joy in spending time outdoors. He took pride in keeping up his yard and found peace in tending his garden. He especially enjoyed growing vegetables, with hot peppers being among his favorite crops. Those who knew Earl will remember him as a kind, and friendly man. His quiet strength, warm smile, and genuine nature left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Earl's legacy lives through the memories he created, the work of his hands, and the love he shared with his family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, and his two sisters.

Earl is survived by his beloved wife Juanita McClard, his daughter Catherine McClard, his son Joe Duke, as well as two grand-daughters.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Green Funeral Home - Ferris, Texas.
