Donna Daniell

Donna Janiece Daniell passed on Sunday, Oct 9, 2022 in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by loved ones. Donna was born on November 28, 1965 in Dallas, Texas to John Melton Sr. and Charlotte Janiece James and was the oldest of six children. Donna married her soulmate Edward Daniell Sr. at the Pentecostal Tabernacle in Grand Prairie, Tx on May 10, 1982. They gave birth to their oldest child Kathi Klein in 1983. Shortly after having their second child Edward Daniell Jr. in 1985. They settled into the small town of Red Oak, Tx where she raised her family. She was actively involved with numerous nonprofit organizations that included: Meals on Wheels, Relay For Life and was a caregiver for cancer survivors. Donna was happily employed at H.E.B of Waxahachie, where she dedicated 30 plus years.  She was a Child of God, her love for Christ radiated through her. You knew Donna by her love and service to others. She truly lived out her life loving others like Jesus. Donna loved her family and her grandchildren meant the world to her.

Those that precede Donna are; Grand Mother and Grand Father Thelma and Vernon Filbert and  Mother in Law Darlene Daniell.

Donna is survived by her loving and devoted husband Edward Daniell Sr.; daughter Kathi Klein, son-in-law Neil Klein; grandchildren: Yasmine, Van, and Bailee Klein; son Edward Daniell Jr., daughter-in-law Deanna Daniell; grandchildren: Trey, Karsyn, Karleigh and Nicholas Daniell; grandchildren: Kaleb Perez, Arianna Ward; mother: Charlotte James; father John Melton Sr, mother-in-law Bernice Melton; father-in-law: Louis Daniell; siblings: Diane Melton, Angela Zenner, April Melton, Suzie Bass and John Melton Jr.;as well as lots of extended family.

The family will receive friends starting at 1:00pm for a meal and fellowship before the celebration of life begins at 2:00pm.
