Clinton Ray Smart, 81, passed away on September 30, 2024. He was born on September 29, 1943, to Claude Smart and Bessie Baugh. Clinton lived a life marked by hard work and simple joys. Clinton was a skilled welder and electrician by trade, finding pride in working with his hands. He served in the US Navy receiving the National Defense Service medal and Vietnam Service metal during his time of Honorable Service. He is survived by son David Smart of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; son Donnie and wife Dawn Smart of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; three grandsons: Evan, Joseph, and Landon; brother Duane Smart; nieces and nephews: Jackie Moore, Debra Hein, Jennifer Cummings, Dale Moore and Chester Moore.
