Clifton Lee Battle

Clifton Lee Battle, age 64 of Ferris, Texas passed away June 19, 2023. He was born January 15, 1959 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to the late Perlie Battle Jr and Almeta Battle. He grew up in Rocky Mount and joined the U.S. Marine Corps 1978. After his service in the Marines he moved to Dallas, TX in 1991 and eventually founded a ministry known as 2nd Chance Ministry Dallas. He was a minister with a great passion for helping and educating people of all walks of life about Jehovah God. Clifton enjoyed traveling with his beautiful wife Joyce Battle and their loving fur baby Hannah. He took great pleasure in being a father and husband feeding the homeless, counseling, reading and long healthy conversations with his best friend and brother Cleveland Battle. He will always be thought of and loved by many family members, friends, and neighbors who knew him.

Survived by his Wife Joyce Battle, Daughter Toni Williams, Daughter Deandra Battle, Brother Floyd Draughn, Sister Annie Mae Battle, Brother Walter Junior Battle, Brother Calvin Battle, Sister Janice Battle, Brother Cleveland Battle, Sister Emma Trevathan, Brother Richard “Tony” Battle, Sister Shirley Battle and Brother Linwood Battle.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 307 Micah Lane Ferris, Texas 75125.
