Chyerll Lynn (Winkles) Jeter

Chyerll Lynn (Winkles) Jeter, age 60 passed away October 28, 2023. She was born March 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Jimmy Lee Winkles and Robbie Merle Shaffer. She was raised in Dallas and attended Duncanville High School, after which she met the love of her life James W. Jeter; they later married on September 12, 1981 and this union was blessed two children. Chyerll loved being a homemaker, taking care of her husband and children, keeping her house very clean, as well as doing some other housekeeping for a few friends. She is remembered as a series individual who offten spoke her mind, yet was down to earth and always kept her feet on the ground. She loved her children and was a very protective mother, always providing everything her children needed, cooking and making sure everyone was fed. She was a simple individual who appreciated discipline and honesty and enjoyed being outside, looking at her beautiful morning glories and was often found playing games on her iPad. Her husband James remembers beautiful trips to to see his family in Lake Texoma, Texas where she overcame her fear of the water. Chyerll will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Jimmy Lee Winkles and Robbie Merle Shaffer; brothers: Michael Anthony Winkles and Doyle Wayne Winkles; and nephew Little Robert Winkles.

She is survived by her husband James W. Jeter of Waxahachie, Texas, son James E. Jeter of Waxahachie, Texas, and daughter,l Casey Lynn Jeter of Waxahachie, Texas, granddaughters: Alayna Renee Skye Lovgren and Aalyiah Chevelle Lovgren; twin brother Darrel Glen Winkles; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be 4:000 - 6:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Ferris, Texas.

Interment will follow at Ferris Memorial Park North in Ferris, Texas.
