En la mañana del 7 de septiembre de 2023, Carlos "Chivo" Martín Trejo, de 51 años, falleció en el Seton Medical Center Williamson en Round Rock, Texas, a causa de problemas de salud prolongados.

Carlos, nacido el 3 de junio de 1972, de Alberta Trejo San Juan y Selso Martín Martínez en Caltimacan, Hidalgo, vivió la mayor parte de su vida en Dallas, Texas. Durante más de 20 años de trabajo como soldador, Carlos adquirió una amplia experiencia en la fabricación de equipos de restaurante utilizando materiales de acero inoxidable y soldándolos juntos. También trabajó como instalador de equipos de restaurante y tuvo la oportunidad de viajar por todo Estados Unidos.

Durante su tiempo libre, era una persona muy enérgica y lograba cosas desde el momento en que se despertaba hasta que se iba a dormir. Cada día era algo nuevo con Carlos, y si tenías la suerte de pasar un día con él, enseguida sabías que era alguien lleno de amor y energía. Le encantaba escuchar música y hablar por teléfono con amigos y familiares.

Carlos era un hombre de muchos talentos; tenía conocimientos en una amplia gama de áreas, desde arreglar cosas hasta asar fajitas los fines de semana. A lo largo de los años, estuvo involucrado en el fútbol. Pasó años jugando al fútbol y también entrenando. El fútbol era verdaderamente la pasión de Carlos y algo que siempre encendía su espíritu. Podía tener el peor día, pero si había fútbol, eso cambiaría su estado de ánimo.

Todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de ser parte de la vida de Carlos guardarán para siempre un recuerdo de él.

Carlos es precedido en la muerte por sus hermanos Cecilio "Chilo" Trejo Trejo, Francisco Trejo Trejo, Gerardo "Gere" Martín Trejo y su padre Selso Martín Martínez. Le sobreviven su esposa Mónica Herrera, sus hijos Luis Alberto Martín Piña, Erick Uriel Ortiz Barrera y Alex Martín Ortiz, su nuera Emelia Ortiz Beltran, y su madre Alberta Trejo San Juan, así como varios hermanos, hermanas, primos, sobrinos y sobrinas.

On the morning of September 7th, 2023, Carlos "Chivo" Martin Trejo, aged 51, passed away at Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock, Texas. He passed away from prolonged health issues.

Carlos, born on June 3rd, 1972, to Alberta Trejo San Juan and Selso Martin Martinez in Caltimacan, Hidalgo, lived the majority of his life in Dallas, Texas. Throughout more than 20 years of working as a welder. Carlos had a range of experience manufacturing restaurant equipment utilizing stainless steel materials and welding them together. He also worked as an installer of restuarant equipment and was able to travel across the US.

During his free time, he was a very energetic person and would accomplish things from the moment he woke up until he went to sleep. Every day was something new with Carlos, and if you were lucky enough to spend a day with him, you would instantly know that he was someone full of love and energy. He loved listening to music and talking on the phone with friends and family.

Carlos was a man of many talents; he had knowledge in a wide range of areas, from fixing things to grilling fajitas on weekends. Throughout the years, he was involved in soccer. He spent years playing soccer and also coaching. Soccer was truly Carlos's passion and something that always lit up his spirit. He could have the worst day, but if there was soccer on, that would change his mood.

Everyone who was able to be a part of Carlos's life will forever hold a memory of him. 

Carlos is preceded in death by his brothers Cecilio "Chilo" Trejo Trejo, Francisco Trejo Trejo, Gerardo "Gere" Martin Trejo, and father Selso Martin Martinez. He is survived by his wife Monica Herrera, sons Luis Alberto Martin Piña, Erick Uriel Ortiz Barrera, and Alex Martin Ortiz, his daughter-in-law Emelia Ortiz Beltran, and mother Alberta Trejo San Juan, as well as several brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas.
