Bonnie O'Brien Obituary

Bonnie L. (Smith) O’Brien of Lancaster, TX passed away July 28, 2022. She was
born May 19, 1941, to Arthur and Hazel (Marshall) Smith in Flanagan, Il. She
graduated from Flanagan High school 1959 and graduated from University of
Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in 1965.
She is survived by husband Dennis F. O’Brien married September 4, 1960. One
daughter Debbie O’Brien, two grandchildren Robin O’Brien and Christopher
Reine, two great grandchildren Jennifer Reine and Eric Hunter, one great great
grandchild Derio O’Brien Epps. Siblings Shirley (Smith) Hudson in Arizona and
Darryl Smith in Florida. Sister in Law Nancy (O’Brien) Carls, and many nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Bonnie taught elementary school in Flanagan, Illinois until moving to Texas in
1980. She became an Executive Assistant and worked until 2000 when she retired
from Thomas Printworks. She enjoyed spending time with her family and
traveling.
