Bobby Wayne Henry, born on September 21, 1961, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, just days shy of his 63rd birthday. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Bobby's life was marked by service, love, and faith.
Bobby served four proud years in the U.S. Navy before continuing his commitment to his community as a member of the Texas State Guard. After his military service, he dedicated 20 years to protecting and serving as a police officer, earning the respect and admiration of those he encountered.
He married the love of his life, Melissa "Missi" Blair, and together they raised two wonderful children, Grace and Ethan. Bobby was fiercely devoted to his family, creating cherished memories through countless family cruises in the Caribbean, with Roatan being a particular favorite.
A godly man, Bobby was an active member of Avenue Church in Ennis, Texas, where he served on the safety team for nine years. His faith guided his actions and provided strength to those around him.
Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Pinion, and his father, Robert Henry.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Missi; his children, Grace and Ethan; his sister, Susan Henry; and many friends whom he cared for dearly.
