Billy Charles Simpson

Billy Charles Simpson was born January 11, 1934 in Krotz Springs, Louisiana. He passed away May 13, 2026 at the age of 92. He graduated from Ferris high school in 1951. He attended Abilene Christian College and graduated in 1957. He served in the US Army and was married to Gail Grider Simpson in 1963. They moved to Bristol, Texas in 1977 where he resided until his death. He taught school and worked in the transportation industry.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herschel and Ruth Simpson; wife Gail Simpson; and son Gary Simpson.

He is survived by son Paul Simpson of Bristol, Texas; and daughter Sharon Simpson of Bristol, Texas.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the Bristol Church of Christ -Ennis, Texas.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Bristol Church of Christ -Ennis, Texas.

Burial to follow at Bristol Cemetery -Ennis, Texas.
