Bill Stapleton

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill Stapleton, aged 61, on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. He was born in Duncanville, Texas, on March 3, 1963, to Billy Joe Stapleton Sr. and Billie Jeannine Stapleton. Bill was a humble man who loved sports, worked hard, and dedicated his life to his family. In his younger years, Bill played football and was a star basketball player for the Duncanville Panthers in the early 1980s. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR, and golf.
Bill was a respected leader at various companies, including Tyler Refrigeration, Walgreens Distribution, and finally Univar Solutions. He took pride in his commitment to his coworkers and company, consistently demonstrating dedication, excellence, and a
tireless work ethic.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Stapleton; his sons, Trey Stapleton, Justin Stapleton, and Raine Stapleton; his stepdaughters, Heather Smith, Kathryn Smith, and Shawna Hemmat; his stepson, Timothy Smith; his brothers, Earv Stapleton and Rick Stapleton; and 11 grandchildren.
Bill will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at First Baptist Church Ferris, Texas.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at First Baptist Church Ferris, Texas. Bro Eddie Weichman Officiating.
