Betty Jean (Boyette) Huckabee Jolly Lundy, age 82 of Purdon, TX passed away June 3, 2021.  Betty was born September 29, 1938 in Land, Alabama. She moved to Texas in 1955 where she raised her family.  She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. 

She enjoyed working outdoors in her garden and yard. Through the years she raised miniature horses, several species of birds and cattle.

Preceded in death by her parents Clarence Boyette and Lola Mae Bennett; two brothers: Cecil & Bobbie, three sisters: Janice, Alice and Francis; husbands: James Huckabee, James Jolly; son-in-law Frank Otero.

Survived by husband Charlie Lundy; children: David and wife Angela Huckabee, Barbara and husband Bruce Bolton, Darlene King and Arlene Otero; sister Annette Paul; 11 grandchildren: Kendra King, Jennifer (John) McWilliams, Stephanie (Jeff) Smith, Jamie (Jessica) Huckabee, Melissa King (Philip Laws), Chad (Danielle) Huckabee, Wesley (Kayla) Huckabee, Megan Bolton (Richard Harries), Scott Huckabee, Brendan Bolton (Harley Wright) and Brandon Bolton

20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM -12:45 PM Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Green Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Ferris Memorial Park North, Ferris, Texas. Pastor Steve Hamm Officiating.
