Beckie Jo Watkins

Beckie Jo Watkins age 63 of Midlothian, Texas passed away May 25, 2023. She was born June 4, 1959 in Waxahachie, Texas to Raymond Lester and Barbara Lee (Pritchett) Watkins. She was a lifelong resident of Ellis County, Texas. She attended and graduated from Red Oak High School in the Class of 1979, after which she worked as a lab technician. As a neat freak, she began sharing this talent with an untold number of clients, cleaning homes and businesses for more than 30 years. She enjoyed her favorite wine, listening to Country and Western music, going dancing and being with her dedicated group of girlfriends. Together they loved going shopping, sharing spa days together, and many times traveling to Fredericksburg, Texas sampling wines all along the way. Beckie was a very kind, friendly and generous individual. She would do anything for anybody and often put other’s needs ahead of her own. She is remembered for always being dressed up with her make-up done and ready for anything every new day brought. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father Raymond Lester Watkins. 

She is survived by her long-time companion Gary Morton; her family: Barbara Lee Watkins of Red Oak, Texas, Hollie Berry of Round Rock, Texas, Tracey and husband Robert Estrada of Red Oak, Texas, Billy Voughan and wife Donna Watkins of Galveston, Texas, Hayden Berry, Mason Berry, Avery Berry and numerous other extended family members and dear friends. 

A Memorial Gathering will be held 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Green Funeral Home Red Oak, Texas.
