Arcadio "Chuck" Garza Jr

Arcadio “Chuck” Garza, Jr., age 56, of Ferris, Texas passed away November 9, 2021. He was born December 4, 1964 in Ennis, Texas to Arcadio and Selia (Olivarez) Garza, Sr. He grew up in the Ellis County Texas area and lived here all of his life; working in construction, building many homes in the surrounding area. Chuck enjoyed music of all kinds, everywhere he went he was always listening to music. He loved to spend his free time fishing locally at Lake Bardwell and Lake Tawakani. He was never a catch and release kinda guy, but always took home what he caught. He loved to cook, BBQ and have a beer with his friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father Arcadio Garza, Sr; niece Kaylee Garza and niece Jazmine Garza; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and other family members.

He is survived by his children: daughter Samantha and husband Marco Verastegui, daughter Sylvia Berrum and Son Arcadio III and wife Katherine Garza; mother Selia Garza; brother Guadalupe Garza, brother Michael and wife Lilia Garza, sister Irma and husband Joe Gutierrez and brother Mark and wife Jessica Garza; also numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and close friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 9:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM Friday, November 12, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Ferris, TX.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish, Ferris, TX. Deacon Jose Muniz officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Ferris Memorial Park North cemetery, Ferris, TX.
