Annie Mae Robinson, age 69, of Red Oak, Texas, passed away on October 14, 2022. She was born in Dallas, Texas, on December 31, 1952, to the late Morie and Mae Ethel (Martin) Robinson. Annie attended South Oak Cliff High School, graduating class of 1971. She began work in various roles over the years until her retirement as an Environmental Services Technician for Zale Lipshy Hospital in Dallas.
Annie was always a giver and made everyone she met feel loved and special. She never met a stranger and got to know people personally, keeping up with friends and loved ones on the phone. Annie would put together wonderful, personalized gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions. She was a homebody who enjoyed being in the comfort of home, watching her favorite shows on the Food Network or the Game Show Network, some of her favorites being: Carnival Eats, Food Paradise, Man vs. Food, People Puzzler, $100,000 Pyramid, and America Says. Annie was a huge Tyler Perry fan and always enjoyed trips to the movie theater to see him on the big screen with a bag of popcorn. She loved the Lord and was a partner of Spirit and Truth Christian Worshipers Church in Lancaster, Texas, since May 14, 1995. Annie will be missed by her church family and all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Morie and Mae Ethel Robinson. Surviving relatives include her sister, Margie (Jonathan) Riddick; brother, Maurice Robinson, Jr.; nieces: Timica (Jazz) Patterson and Faith Riddick; nephews: Josiah Riddick, Landon Riddick, Jacob Riddick, Moneion (Sabine) Riddick, Zerick Robinson, Morio Robinson, Carwin Allen, and Cameron Allen.
A Celebration of Life for Annie will be held at Green Funeral Home, Red Oak, Texas, on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11 a.m. Evangelist Margie Riddick officiating.
