Alexandro Hernandez Cerda, de 23 años, residente de Scurry, Texas, falleció el 16 de marzo de 2026. Nació el 7 de noviembre de 2002 en Dallas, Texas, hijo de Octavio Hernández y María Guadalupe Cerda. Alex creció jugando fútbol y mantuvo ese amor toda su vida, especialmente por su equipo favorito, Tigres. Desde joven fue un trabajador dedicado, pasando sus años de adolescencia trabajando junto a su padre y posteriormente desempeñándose en distintos empleos, incluyendo una llantera, Best Buy, trabajos de tablaroca y, más recientemente, como topógrafo. Disfrutaba comprar, limpiar y mantener armas de fuego, pasar tiempo en el campo de tiro y disfrutar del aire libre pescando y cazando. También atesoraba el tiempo con su fiel perro, Tank. Verdadero entusiasta de los autos, Alex podía identificar vehículos tan solo por el sonido de sus motores. Conocido por su sentido del humor y su personalidad extrovertida, Alexandro amaba la música y pasar tiempo con su familia. Tenía sueños de convertirse en influencer de YouTube, tener su propio terreno y, algún día, formar una familia con tres hijos. Alex será recordado por su espíritu trabajador, su sentido del humor y el amor que tenía por su familia y amigos.

Le preceden en la muerte sus abuelos maternos y su abuelo paterno.

Le sobreviven sus padres, Octavio Hernández y María Guadalupe Cerda; sus hermanos, Gustavo Hernández y Javier Hernández; su hija, Madelyn Serena Hernández Montoya; el amor de su vida, Victoria Montoya; así como numerosos familiares y amigos cercanos.

Alexandro Hernandez Cerda, age 23 of Scurry, Texas passed away March 16, 2026. He was born November 7, 2002 in Dallas, Texas to Octavio Hernandez and Maria Guadalupe Cerda. Alex grew up playing soccer and remained a lifelong fan, especially of his favorite team The Tigres. From a young age he was a dedicated worker, spending his teenage years working alongside his father and later holding jobs at a tire shop, Best Buy, in drywall, and most recently as a surveyor. He enjoyed buying, cleaning, and maintaining firearms, spending time at the gun range, and being outdoors fishing and hunting. He also cherished time with his loyal dog Tank. A true car enthusiast, Alex could identify vehicles just by the sound of their engines. Known for his humor and outgoing personality, Alexandro loved music and being around his family. He had dreams of becoming a YouTube influencer, owning land, and one day raising a family with three children. Alex will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his sense of humor, and the love he had for his family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

He has survived by his parents Octavio Hernandez and Maria Guadalupe Cerda; brother Gustavo Hernandez; brother Javier Hernández; daughter Madelyn Serena Hernandez Montoya; the love of his life Victoria Montoya; as well as a host of extended family members and close friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 9:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2026 at Green Funeral Home 105 Vintage Dr. Red Oak, Texas 75154

Rosary will be at 8:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2026 at Green Funeral Home -Red Oak, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Corpus Christi Catholic Parish 111 N. Wood Street Ferris, Texas 75125

Burial to follow at Red Oak Cemetery -Red Oak,
