Albert G. Puskar, "Al," 71, of Red Oak, TX, passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family. Born on September 25th, 1953, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, Al was the son of Albert Sr. and Olga Puskar. After graduating from Baldwin Senior High in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Al made his way to Texas, where he married the love of his life, Ruth Woodard, on October 2nd, 1983. Al had a long and dedicated career, working with various employers, including Henry C. Beck Construction, Americana Foods, and Landmark Security, before enjoying his well-deserved retirement in 2022. Al had a heart for car shows, where he’d often be found showing off his own ride or cheering on friends. He was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Dallas Stars, and—above all—his family. Al was a devoted husband, dad, “Papap”, and friend to so many. Al’s memory lives on with his loving wife, Ruth of Red Oak, his sister, Carol Malichky of Beaver Falls, his son, Clint Puskar of Lake Charles, and his daughter, Emily Flores, along with her husband, Evan, of Waxahachie. Al was an adoring “Papap” to Lance and Cooper Puskar and Easton and Emmitt Flores, and he cherished every moment with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sr. and Olga Puskar of Imperial, Pennsylvania.
A celebration of Al’s life will be held on November 23rd, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Green Funeral Home in Red Oak, TX.
