Lyn Wallace, age 49, of Ferris, passed away March 9, 2019. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Lyndel E. And Nancy M. (Tanner) Wallace in June of 1969. Lyn lived all over the United States and even spent some time in Germany, where he learned to snow ski. His first job was in leather furniture where he worked with his uncle. He continued his whole life making and selling custom leather furniture. In his spare time, Lyn loved listening to Pink Floyd and getting out on the road on his motorcycle. He enjoyed watching and playing baseball. He was a pitcher growing up and even played on several adult leagues. He also enjoyed grilling and was proud to perfect his step-dad's chili recipe. He married his love Laura Bristow in July of 2015 in Destin, Florida.
He is preceded in death by step father Gary Snyder.
Survivors include wife Laura Wallace and daughter Addison Bristow of the home; son Michael R. Wallace of Grapevine; mother Nancy Snyder of Red Oak; father Lyndel E. Wallace of Ardmore, Oklahoma; sister Tanya and husband Tim Teeter of Grapevine; nephew Sean Teeter of Grapevine; niece Brooke Teeter-Stocz and husband Steven of Grapevine and great-nephew Levi Timothy Stocz; as well as numerous other extended family and dear friends. Lyn will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2019; Funeral Service will be 11 AM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Green Funeral Home. Pastor Bob Mashburn officiating.
